ROTHERHAM HOLMES GREYHOUND STADIUM

The South Yorkshire town of Rotherham had at least 3 greyhound tracks in the past, the longest to operate being in the Holmes area of the town. The independently run track was situated at 1° 22' W 53° 25' N and held its opening meeting on 31st July 1933.

The track was well run and popular, but finally closed its gates in 1974.
